Leadership Team

  • Edendale’s founder, Tony is a trusted advisor to numerous high-profile individuals, corporations and institutions. He oversees all elements of Edendale’s work, using his extensive crisis management experience, strong relationships and background in both journalism and representation.

    Previously, Tony worked at the Los Angeles bureau of NBC News, where he was part of the award-winning “Today” team that won back-to-back Emmys for Best Morning Program. He began his time in Los Angeles at the William Morris Agency, where he rose from their famed mailroom to become a talent agent, working with writers, directors and actors, as well as leading the content side of their YouTube-based programming initiative, Rational Media.

    A dual citizen of the US and the UK, Tony started his career by working as a print reporter at London’s Sunday Telegraph newspaper, where he specialized in political coverage. He graduated with honors from Harvard College, with a BA in History. Tony lives with his wife and son in Los Angeles. He loves all sports, good food, good wine, good movies and both good and bad television.

  • Curtis works with clients on all aspects of communications and crisis management. He utilizes his skills developed in his 30 years as a journalist and network television news producer to shape media strategies and conduct media training for clients to convey impactful messages to key stakeholders, the press or the public. Curtis heads Edendale’s music division and specializes in entertainment-related reputational rehabilitation.

    Prior to joining Edendale, Curtis launched and managed a television news outlet in Bend, Oregon, servicing both ABC and CBS affiliates. Before that, he was a producer at NBC News, where he earned nine Emmys for his work on taped and live segments for “Today,” the number one morning show in the country. Curtis began his news career as an executive producer and producer at television stations in Chicago, San Diego and Austin, where he earned his first two Emmys. He also worked as an associate producer for Harpo Productions at the Oprah Winfrey Show.

    Born and raised in Texas, Curtis graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Journalism in Broadcast Journalism and a Bachelor of Arts in History. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife and two sons.

  • Mara counsels clients dealing with a wide variety of business disputes and reputational challenges. She leverages her legal background to provide strategic crisis communications advice and litigation support to both individuals and organizations confronted with complicated and high-profile matters.

    Prior to joining Edendale, Mara held senior in-house positions in the financial, tech and healthcare sectors, where she was responsible for, among other things, conducting complex internal investigations as well as implementing and enhancing compliance programs. She started her career as an associate in the restructuring department at Willkie Farr & Gallagher in New York.

    Mara graduated with honors receiving her BA from Cornell University and her JD from the University of Michigan Law School. Though a New Yorker at heart, Mara currently resides in South Florida with her husband, two daughters, and two aussiedoodles.
